What has changed at Atelier du Verre
The challenge
L'Atelier du Verre is an artisanal glassblowing studio that creates unique pieces and small batches for interior design and private collections. Historic Wix site, Lighthouse 28, average basket value €380. Stable but low organic traffic (1,200 visits/month), no presence on the new generative AI platforms that have become the discovery channel for high-end clients.
A key business observation: their European and Middle Eastern clients are now using ChatGPT to shortlist European glass artisans. Out of 50 test prompts, L’Atelier du Verre did not appear in any of the results. Their two main competitors appeared in 12 and 7 prompts respectively.
Our solution
WordPress redesign + ACF Pro, Cloudflare R2 hosting for high-resolution media (4K product galleries), CDN with Brotli + WebP. Product page templates featuring artisanal storytelling: the manufacturing process in photos, the glassblower’s identity, production time, and "handmade" certification.
Core Web Vitals optimisation: median LCP 1.1 s, median INP 80 ms, CLS 0.02. Smart lazy loading of galleries.
GEO section: restructuring of key pages into quotable blocks (precise figures, numbered lists, enhanced FAQs). Schema.org Product + Organisation + Person (the glassblower as the author) + ImageObject. llms.txt generated with product catalogue + biography + technical specialities. Targeted backlinks on Wikipedia (article on the founding glassblower), Reddit r/glassblowing, and 3 specialist media outlets.
Introduction of monthly monitoring of AI citations: number of target prompts in which L’Atelier appears, position, and context of the citation.
«I wasn’t really convinced by GEO when Evolurise pitched it to me. Four months later, 22 out of 30 of our enquiries were "I heard about you via ChatGPT". They’ve also completely revamped the presentation of the rooms; it’s become a selling point in its own right.»
